Will the anti-rebound bar on the Radian® 3QXT® SafePlus™ (Radian® 3QXT®) car seat injure my childs foot/feet in a collison?

Diono® can not guarantee that the child restraint can protect from injury in every situation, but proper use helps to reduce the risk of serious injury or death. The anti-rebound bar is designed to reduce the rebound of the seat that occurs following a motor vehicle accident.

Children's car seats are designed to protect vital areas of a child's body during the event of an accident to limit forces exerted on the individual. In doing so the seat, when properly installed, will reduce the risk of fatal injury by 71% for infants under 1 year of age and by 54% for toddlers 1-4 years old (NHTSA Traffic Safety Facts, 2017). There is no guarantee that the anti-rebound bar will not cause an injury during a crash, however, it will help to prevent a fatality.
